This petition is to ask the Parks Commission Board to rescind it's decision to implement parking meters at Noah's Park Playground. This playground was built by Team Noah Foundation and is a one of a kind handicapped accessible park for All children.  By signing you are showing your support for the community and letting those in charge know we the citizens of New Bedford, and surrounding areas DO NOT APPROVE!

1. I do understand that if you have a handicap placard parking is free, but not all disabilities are physical and not every special needs child is eligible for one.
2. I do also understand that the 1st 2 hours of parking are free, but for the majority of special needs families or any family in general 2 hours is not long enough.
3. the New meters will require you to download an app and enter either a debit or credit card to pay after the 2 hours. Many people are not able to do this whether it be they are not tech savvy, do not use cards, etc.
4. ALL PARKS should be free as they were intended to be a fun place for children to gather and parents not need to worry about paying to go.
