Keep Neil Chandran Behind Bars

The Issue

Neil Chandran of Las Vegas, NV is currently detained USP Leavenworth after being arrested in Los Angeles for an alleged investment fraud scheme that defrauded more than 10,000 victims of over $45 million. Chandran owned a group of technology companies that he used in a scheme to defraud investors by falsely promising extremely high returns on the premise that one or more of his companies, operated under the banner of “ViRSE”, was about to be acquired by a consortium of wealthy buyers that included Jeff Bezos who they claimed would take over as CEO.

As victims of Neils crimes, we would kindly like to petition the court to deny the request his public defender filed today for a motion to review detention. Neil actually has closer to 30,000 worldwide victims and has stolen over $300M from elderly and the uniformed. Additionally we would like to point out the fact that Mr Chandran is a repeat offender and likely has millions in crypto investments he and his partners Mike Thomas Glaspie and Garry John Davidson have hidden from the authorities. We believe this may be an attempt to secretly move those funds and victims will never have a chance to recover them if/when Mr Chandran is convicted of his crimes.

The petition mention that Neil paid his fines he received for his previous crimes. This is not entirely true. His victims, most unknowingly were paying his fines through the MikeGDeal. " I talked about the seller's previous legal problems...some of the money we were sending to the seller's company in fact $20k a month to be exact, was to help pay off a civil fine" Mike Glaspie

I don't see how paying off one crime with funds raised by another is honorable.

Additionally, if Neil Chandran is released on bail it will add fuel to the ongoing Mike G Deal scam perpetrated by the defendant and Mike Glaspie and Garry Davidson. To this day, even after the arrest the scam is alive and the leaders involved are insisting that Neil will soon walk free and the deal will close making tens of thousand of investors millionaires overnight. Ivan Heckscher of Descano CA is a prime example of this. Just last week he released a Mike G Deal update insisting the deal was real and Neil will be found not guilty of all charges and come home to close the deal. This is similar to what Saul Wilson and Linda Knott are also telling their respective groups regarding this scam. They are keeping hope alive so that victims stop requesting chargebacks from their banks just long enough so that the window of time victims can request these chargebacks will eventually close. Many banks already have closed that window.

The request mentions the fact that there are NO guns in the home--- Neil Chandran is most dangerous when he has access to a TELEPHONE/computer! That is how he can give instructions to others (Mike & Garry) to continue defrauding victims, defraud NEW victims, moving funds as mentioned above, contact and possibly threaten those that have turned evidence over, etc. Neil Chandran should NOT be allowed out of jail as he will participate in these acts and more if released!

Some victims of this scam have been threatened by Neil, Mike, and/or Garry. I myself had to file a police report and have the courts grant a no contact order on one of the ringleaders of this scam my family and I were harassed and threatened. I personally fear for the safety of myself, my family, and other victims of this crime if Neil Chandran were to be released.

Please keep Neil Chandran behind bars pending the outcome of his trial.
