My daughter and ourselves have two Nigerian Dwarf pet goats. Moonlight and Mocha, both females. We have raised them from 2 weeks old and are now 2 and a half. We have them as pets due to my daughter being severely allergic to cats and dogs. She can not be around them without breaking out and having a reaction. So we got goats, the next best thing. We lived in a rural area which allowed them, but unfortunately we had a death in the family and had to move to a residential area. We let our neighbors know and asked them before we brought them here. We clean their house every week and bath them twice a month. They a very quiet as well. I have paid to try and get a variance from the zoning board, they said no. So I had asked the city council to change the wording of agriculture to allow having two goats with restrictions, they went  to a comity, they said no. And now will vote on Sept. 13th. I’m asking for the community’s help by signing my petition to allow us to keep our beloved girls. I wish we could have the normal pets like everyone else, but with my daughters condition it is not something we can do. So please help us keep our girls with our family where they belong! They are not livestock, they are our pets!!! Thank you to all that support us!
