Keep Musk Out Of Music City

Keep Musk Out Of Music City
The Issue
Elon Musk is not a visionary—he’s a billionaire with a track record of broken promises, half-finished projects, and power grabs disguised as innovation. Now, he’s coming for Nashville since he's getting his ass kicked in Memphis.
Behind closed doors, Tennessee officials (who don't represent Nashville) are negotiating with Musk’s Boring Company to build a tunnel between downtown Nashville and the airport. No public input. No transparency. No accountability.
Let us not forget that Musk’s tunnel schemes have failed everywhere he’s pitched them.
- In Chicago, his airport tunnel was quietly scrapped.
- In Las Vegas, his “loop” became a glorified Uber tunnel—slow, dangerous, and laughably over budget.
- In Los Angeles, his original tunnel plan was abandoned after public backlash.
This is not about solving Nashville’s traffic problems. This is about Elon Musk buying influence in our city and using public resources to pad his private empire. I don't know about y'all, but this project will happen over my dead body.
Nashville belongs to the people who live here—not billionaires looking for their next tech gimmick. We need buses, sidewalks, and working infrastructure—not another PR stunt for the ultra-wealthy.
Sign this petition to tell Governor Lee, the Department of Transportation, and Metro leaders: Nashville is not for sale. Keep Musk out of Music City.
