I am pleased and delighted to announce that as of today the 18/24/2024 we have confirmation from the Paediatric Clinical lead for the Diabetes Unit in Mullingar that as of the 22/04/2024 we will have our Advance Nurse Practitioner return back to work to take charge of our service again. This nurse is an incredible asset to our clinic and without her dedication and hard work the clinic clearly cannot run to its full potential, even with the brilliant Prof O Grady at the helm, he needs her support. 

In addition to this, the hospital have released the nurse that is currently in training and education for Diabetes from her role in the Paediatric ward to work along side and support the team. Also there has been approval for the recruitment of additional permanent staffing to ensure the long term stability of the Paediatric Diabetes Services in Mullingar. 

We the parents would like to take the time to thank each and every person who has signed and shared and supported our petition, without your voices and support we couldnt have gotten out voices and concerns put into the public eye.
