This petition is in support of our extraordinary teacher Sarah Connolly remaining at Lake Oswego Middle School. Her skill and love of teaching is incredible. It is obvious that she enjoys teaching, and works hard every day for her classes. She supports all of her students, and provides humorous remarks that find a way to make the whole class smile. This ability makes many believe that laying her off would be a grave mistake for our school. Due to this, I believe that our school would be negatively impacted by the loss of Sarah Connolly.

Without Ms. Connolly at our school, we would be left with a great hole in our hearts, losing someone so dear to us, and so incredibly skilled. She always finds a way to make learning enjoyable for students, incorporating activities and games into almost every day of school. There are so many reasons why she is a great fit for our school, and I believe that without her, there would be a significant drop off in the quality of learning for 8th grade science classes at LOMS. 

We only have a short time to act upon this, because the school year is nearly over already. Within this past year, many have formed deep bonds and connections with Ms. Connolly, and feel that she deserves to stay. I cannot stress enough how important it is to so many people that Ms. Connolly stays. This is why I ask for your support now, to keep a favorite teacher of mine and of many others. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and my hope is that your decision to support her will allow Sarah Connolly to continue teaching here at Lake Oswego Middle School.
