I, a Mathis resident and EMS professional, personally believe in providing medical care that is beyond reproach. As a previous Mathis EMS employee, I felt we successfully managed and provided the care our patients needed on a personal level. Due to the decisions made by the City Management and Council, they have decided to privatize EMS services. SHOULD this be the only option, I, as a constituent, firmly believe in the exceptional service of Angel Care EMS. This private emergency medical service provider is known for its commitment to offer superior, quality healthcare to all patients, including their families. The quality of service and reliance on Angel Care EMS is not only my testimony but resonates with many in our community.

Currently, Allegiance EMS services the Mathis area. However, there have been numerous instances where their service delivery, mannerisms, communication, and interpersonal relationship with the public fell short of the community's expectations. On the other hand, Angel Care EMS consistently displays a higher level of dedication, compassion, and expertise in emergency medical situations.

A study by the National Association of State EMS Officials (2018) highlighted the crucial role of EMS providers in safeguarding public health, especially in remote areas like Mathis. Our community deserves an EMS that prioritizes our health and wellbeing. Angel Care EMS has proven its dependability in this regard countless times.
