Thank you for reaching out to the District 2 office concerning personal watercraft use on Lake Austin. As an elected official, my top priority is and has been the safety and wellbeing of all Austinites. I support the call for further evaluation of safety risks, existing regulations, and enforcement mechanisms related to personal watercraft use on Lake Austin. All Lake Austin residents and users deserve to feel safe and we must be intentional about long-term lake safety.
