Besides the numerous instances of incompetence of LaGuardia's Principal, Dr. Lisa Mars, we have found documented evidence of intimidation, retribution, and actual verbal bullying by her and senior school staff. This type of behavior should have caused her immediate termination. Inexplicably, it has not, and Dr. Mars remains in her position.
The silence of the Chancellor and Mayor regarding these serious issues is completely unacceptable.
Even in the face of an overwhelming vote of no confidence by the teachers, Dr. Mars plans on attending graduation. Let's take this opportunity to oppose her attendance unequivocally. Make your opinion known to the following:

In the event Dr. Mars does attend graduation, it is likely that a majority of students will engage in some form of peaceful protest. Let us be clear: We unconditionally support the students’ right to peacefully protest in any way they see fit, without fear of retribution against them by Dr. Mars, her staff, or the Department of Education.
Any such action will be met with a swift and very public campaign against the leadership of the school, the Chancellor, and the Mayor, and any leadership who has failed to use their power to intervene and effect change.
