The Keep Whangaparāoa’s Green Spaces (KWGS) Thursday 25 July 2024 Livestream Recording is now available to view on our YouTube channel. For clarity, It has been lightly edited with additional information and graphics. On the Livestream members of the KWGS Executive covered the following:

1.     Acknowledging and thanking a wide range of supporters for their on-going backing and encouragement of our work to retain the green space;

2.     A detailed explanation of how KWGS is working with both Auckland Council and Central Government to ensure the masterplan for Gulf Harbour is retained with the 999 year Green Space Encumbrance acknowledged and in kept in place following the Council CEO, Phil Wilson’s, letter to Long River;

3.     The assumed application by Long River to Central Government to use the up-coming Fast-Track Approvals legislation to develop the Gulf Harbour Country Club land and our moves to counter it;

4.     Your questions on other matters.
