Every child should be able to travel to and from school safely.

Frosses Village is located on the busy route between Glenties and Donegal Town and experiences a constant flow of traffic.

Frosses National School is situated on a corner as you enter the village from the Glenties side, while the village car park is located across the road, requiring children, parents and visitors to cross a busy roadway every day.

Our community has raised ongoing concerns about the speed of traffic passing through our village, which poses a real risk to our children, residents and visitors. We believe that installing a Speed Indicator Device (SID) would be a straightforward and highly effective measure to enhance road safety in Frosses.

We call on Donegal County Council to support local residents by installing a Speed Indicator Device. This small but impactful change would help encourage drivers to slow down and make our village a safer place for everyone.
