Flight For Life Colorado was the nations first civilian air ambulance program, formed in 1972. Their orange helicopters, airplanes, and ambulances are a beacon of hope on the worst day of peoples lives and iconic in Colorado. Common Spirit Health is rebranding the program and abolishing the iconic orange color in favor of pink/purple. Not only are they changing the color, they are changing the iconic heart and wings logo.

In addition to stomping out the iconic orange, this venture will likely cost more than $1 million (helicopters and airplanes are not cheap to repaint!). A non-profit hospital system that relies on donations should be better stewards of their money!

This rebranding effort is coming from Common Spirit Health executives, and NOT from Flight for Life!
