Flaco is a male Eurasian eagle-owl that escaped from the Central Park Zoo on January 31, (his enclosure was vandalized which allowed him to get out). 

After one week, Flaco who has lived in captivity his whole life, learned how to hunt and feed himself in Central Park. He has become a beloved local celebrity in NYC. 

On Feb 16, reports went around that the Central Park Zoo had new plans to capture Flaco and lure him with bait and eagle calls. While it didn't work, the zoo will continue trying other options. 

If Flaco is captured, he will return to a TINY, sad looking excuse for an owl habitat. He deserves better. 

Please urge the Central Park Zoo to Flaco stay free and if captured, to relocate him to a sanctuary.
