In the last few weeks of putting together this petition, I've been...interested in the responses. Some of them, not all of them, are the kind that seems to put down this and other attempts to contact Swift. I think there is a strong feeling that none of us have any power ; that companies like Swift can do what they want the the public have nothing to do but sit back and let them do what they want. But I don't think that's true. We have a lot more power than we think. Companies aren't gods, but they respond to consumer pressure. I've just learned from my parents to speak up when you think something is wrong. We can't and shouldn't just throw up our hands as if there is nothing we can do, because what we say just might make a difference. Speaking up is not always going to change things, but unless we have powers to read minds or see into the future, we never know unless we try. I've attached a screen shot of a letter I got from Swift that propelled me to do this petition. Are the words real? I don't know, but I'm going to hold them to that word through this petition. So, that's why I am wasting my time and bugging the hell out of people. I believe we can change minds and I believe I'm not the only one who believes this. Thank you for joining me and please, please share this petition with friends and family. Let's get this to 200 signatures and even more. If you can, please consider promoting this petition to get in front of more people. The more voices that respond to Swift the better chance for change. Thanks.
