Keep Customization Fair: Make Colors Permanent in "The First Descendants"

Keep Customization Fair: Make Colors Permanent in "The First Descendants"
The Issue
Dear Nexon,
We, the dedicated players and supporters of The First Descendants, are writing to express our strong concern over the recent change in the game's customization system. As passionate gamers, we have always cherished the freedom to personalize our characters in ways that reflect our unique styles and preferences. This was a core aspect of our experience in Warframe, and it was a significant part of what made the beta version of The First Descendants so enjoyable. In Warframe, players could change the color of their frames anytime without incurring additional costs. This level of customization allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in the game, fostering a sense of ownership and connection with our characters. However, in the final release of The First Descendants, the decision to make each color a consumable item has fundamentally altered this experience. Now, we are required to pay for each color change, transforming a beloved feature into a monetized inconvenience. We understand that monetization is essential for the sustainability of any game. However, we believe that there are alternative methods to achieve this without compromising the player experience. Making paint colors consumable not only detracts from the enjoyment of the game but also feels like a step backward from the progress made in the beta version. We urge you to reconsider this decision and restore the permanent color customization feature that was available in the beta. By doing so, you will demonstrate your commitment to the player community and uphold the values that have made both Warframe and The First Descendants beloved titles. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your response and hope for a positive change that will enhance the gaming experience for all.
Sincerely,
A Fan.
