North Northamptonshire Council has, buried in its budget for 23/24, proposed to stop all core funding for Corby Community Centres. 

Centres do generate their own income from hiring out their halls, but most do not make a profit and will not be able to manage without the grant.
Last week, those running the centres were given one week to take part in a consultation with NNC, which closed on Friday.

Danesholme Community Centre
Oakley Vale Community Centre
Kingswood Neighbourhood Centre (run by Linwood Co-Op)

Woodsend Bowls Club
Autumn Centre
Corby Olympic Amatejur Boxing Club (Saxilby Close)
Beanfield Community Centre

Arran Community Centre
Ennerdale Community Centre
Stephenson Way Community Centre

Community Centres play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our residents and we urge North Northamptonshire Council to reconsider this short-sighted proposal and to continue to provide core funding to our much loved centres.
