Keep Colchester High Street M&S Open campaign - can you help us?

Hello wonderful supporters,
 
Our fight to see M&S return to our High Street is not over. We continue to put pressure on M&S to make this commitment to the people of Colchester.
We’re pushing for them to commit to opening a food hall in the town centre, with online order collection point and maybe even a café.
 
There are 3 things you can help us with, which require your urgent action. If you can help we’d be very grateful.
 
1 - We are announcing the next steps to our campaign, and we need (we hope) everyone will join in with us. We need hundreds of people to participate for this to be effective: 

Use the image in the link below to replace your profile picture on all social Media profiles declaring you will not visit the Store in Stane Park until M&S do a U-Turn ( it doesn’t matter if you’re not able to anyway)
Then send a letter to Archie Norman by post or email stating your intention to boycott the store click the link below to get a sample letter you can copy. ( complete the fields with your details highlighted in red)

2 - We are announcing the next steps to our campaign, and we need ( we hope) everyone will join in with us. We need hundreds of people to participate for this to be effective: 
We need 6 volunteers urgently to count how many people go into M&S in town, standing at the 3 entrances to M&S between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm on the last Saturday before closure 03-08-2022
We then also need 6 volunteers to count the visits to the Stane park store on their 1st Saturday after opening – please email us back here - if you can help

 
2 – Silent Vigil, Come and join us for 2 hours only 
We’re holding a silent vigil outside M&S on the High street on Tuesday the 6th September from 2pm to 4:30pm. We need hundreds of people to turn up dressed in black!!
If you can afford it you can even buy one the black save the Colchester High Street T-Shirts � but this is optional

Spread the word to anyone who might be interested to attend.
