Hello Wonderful Supporters,
We are making the following Statement:
After the announcement of the closure of the High Street store and following a number of email conversations back and forth with Archie Norman, the Chairman of M&S, we are now actively asking all campaigners to join a public campaign to boycott the Stane Park Store:
Everyone should "announce" they will boycott the new Stane Park Store until M&S make a firm commitment about a food hall in the town centre.
How we would like you to make your announcement:
1. On your own Social Media profile(s) post a blank post (no text) post
only showing the attached M&S green background.
Use no words at this stage to announce your boycott just display the lime
green background (which is hex code #bdd654 for those who are interested)
2. You can also share your M&S green background on your Story
3. You can also post the green panel without words as comments on groups and pages if you want to try that too.
4. Share your M&S green post multiple times over the coming days and
weeks.
5. You can tell friends privately, when they ask about your green
posts, and ask them to participate.
6. Do not make public statements/comments (yet) about what is meant by the green posts.
7. Repeat the same exercise, if you can, on all other Social Media
profiles ie. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest etc. etc.
8. Let us know by Leaving a cryptic message in the group if your status
has gone "M&S Green"!
Let's see how many green panels we can create and how many eyebrows we might be raising...
