 Every small town has its own beating heart - a place that stands as a symbol of community and continuity. For us in Burleson, that heart is City Market. For the past several years, it has been more than just a grocery store to me and many others, it's become a second home, a place where the owners and staff know us by our names and we're treated as a part of their family. The warm welcome, the fresh floral, bakery, friendly staff and the convenience of sugar-free and gluten-free items tailored to our needs have made City Market an irreplaceable element of our daily lives. 

Today, we find ourselves threatened by the closure of this remarkable store. This isn't just about groceries - it's about losing a beloved piece of our community's history and identity. A place where staff have witnessed our life's milestones and been there throughout. City Market (once Bransoms) is interwoven into the fabric of our shared memories, our sense of belonging, and above all, that unique small-town feel that makes it unique to Burleson in the first place.

Let's rally together to save our City Market, this symbol of the Burleson spirit, and ensure its doors open every day, just as they have for so many years.
