Our beloved Principal/Director of Chief Sabitawasis School, Rhonda Kayseas, has dedicated herself to our community for six years. Her commitment to educational excellence and deep understanding of the unique needs of our students have been instrumental in the school's success. Having been with the school since its early years, she has gone above and beyond her expected duties, providing guidance and support to students and staff alike. Her vast experience in the educational field makes her an irreplaceable leader.

This decision appears to overlook the best interests of our children and the community's educational future. Her relentless commitment and the remarkable progress the school has made under her leadership risk being undermined by this decision.

This ousting threatens to dismantle years of relentless hard work and progress, which will inevitably impact the morale of both students and staff. This sentiment is already palpable among the staff who have expressed concerns over the premature end of such an impactful tenure.

First Nation schools deserves leaders who prioritize the welfare and educational future of their communities. The contributions our Principal/ Director has made are not easily replicated or replaced. Her vision and dedication have made tangible differences in the lives of our students, paving the path for brighter futures.

We implore the leadership to reconsider this decision. By renewing her contract, they will reaffirm their commitment to quality education and respect the wishes of the community that heavily relies on her leadership.
