Ameer Rashad Fountano (CDC#P-02183), the convicted murderer of 39 year old Cheyenne Figueroa, was given a 5 year denial of parole on February 3, 2022.  Signatures & comments are still being collected here for his next parole hearing- the date of which will be posted as it becomes available.  Please sign & SHARE this petition to ask the parole board to deny freedom to this convicted murderer.

On April 29, 1997, Ameer Rashad Fountano (CDC#P-02183), murdered Cheyenne Figueroa while Cheyenne was on his dinner break sitting in the drive thru of Jack-in-the-Box in Inglewood, CA. For unknown reasons, the murderer, Ameer Fountano approached the driver’s side of Cheyenne’s work truck, pointed a loaded gun gang style & shot Cheyenne in the temple killing him. Cheyenne was only 39 years old when he was murdered.  Cheyenne left behind his high school sweetheart & wife of 18 years, along with their three wonderful children ages 17, 14 & 10 years old.  Cheyenne deeply loved his wife & children & was devoted to them.  Cheyenne’s wife & children were thrust into living life without their husband and father. Ameer’s senseless act shattered the entire Figueroa family. Cheyenne has missed the births & life events of all of his 10 grandchildren.

If paroled, Ameer will be sent to the very neighborhood where he committed his crimes.  There will be more innocent victims.  We need to protect the innocent.  Please help in joining Cheyenne’s many loved ones in helping us keep Ameer in prison! Ameer has been so callous to the devastation of his unthinkable crime, the murder of a 39-year-old man with a family at home just trying to earn an honest living, & he should remain incarcerated.  We have never heard one word of remorse……not one!
