We have been granted an extension until July 2027!

This is great news! We are so happy to announce that today we have had confirmation that the involved parties (HSBC, Crystal Palace FC and Bright Horizons) have agreed to allow the nursery to remain open until at least July 2027. 

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported us, signed the petition and raised awareness. We are especially grateful to our MP Liam Conlan for all his time and hard work on this, which has helped us to secure a good outcome at this stage. This does, at least, allow our children to complete this academic year without disruption.

We still believe that longer term, the loss of around 70 childcare places next to a main commuter station would have a significant impact on families and future families in the area. Really, we need the nursery to continue operating beyond July 2027. We still call on the involved parties to take this into consideration in their plans for the redevelopment of the site. Beckenham needs more childcare places not fewer- demand already exceeds supply!
