If you are a parent of a Destin Middle School Child or planning to send your Child to Destin Middle School please pay attention now, they want to change the zone for Destin Middle School February 24th.
This will effect all parents out there who want to send their Children to Destin Middle School. We will be affected by this. We currently have one of our Kids going to Destin and loving it. We decided against Ruckel, cause it wasn’t a good fit for our Daughter (she also has an iep in school). Our son who we planned to also send to Destin Middle School in the next few years has the same diagnosis as our Daughter and a 504 Plan in School and would be a way better fit than Ruckel.
We have one bus coming to Bluewater to pick up our Destin Middle School Kids with the best Bus driver out there.
Please even if u have a child right now not switching to Middle School anytime soon, the day will come where u have to decide what School to send your Child too. And if you walk in the same shoes like us where Ruckel as an example is not a good fit for your child, this will affect you too if you decide for Destin.
Destin has been wonderful for our Daughter and her needs and progress.
We moved to Bluewater to have the option between Destin Middle School and Ruckel Middle School, now with them wanting to rezone they will take our option away.
We are currently zoned for both Schools.
Do not take our Zone and our Bus away to attend Destin Middle School. We need to act now before they decide!
