To save Bessie Ellison, we need everyone who lives in the Saint Joseph School District to show up to three meetings and tell the Board to demand a better plan from the Administration!

Bessie Ellison Elementary School is under the threat of closure, dividing our neighborhood between an existing school that is set to explode in size and a new school cobbled together in a repurposed middle school. We understand the need to make changes in the school district, but any change that closes a flagship school that is one of the top performing schools in terms of academic outcomes and attendance is not the way to go. Join us in letting the Saint Joseph School District know how much Bessie Ellison means to the community of East Saint Joseph!
