Hi neighbors,

My name is Michael, and I’m asking for your support. My family recently received violations and fines from the HOA regarding our basketball goal, and we are being asked to remove it. I’m hoping our community and HOA will reconsider the decision and allow us to keep it.

Basketball is a huge part of my life. I play for school and competitive leagues, and this goal is where I practice almost every day. It’s also become a place where neighborhood kids come together, stay active, and spend time outside instead of sitting inside on electronics.

We understand neighborhoods should look nice and rules are important. We are not trying to disrespect the HOA or create problems. We are simply asking for a reasonable solution that allows kids like me to safely practice and play in our own neighborhood.

Another concern is safety. Our driveway is very steep, which makes moving and storing the basketball goal difficult and unsafe.

To me, this basketball goal is more than just a basketball hoop. It’s part of my training, my goals, and a positive place for kids in the neighborhood.

If you support reconsidering the violations and allowing our basketball goal to remain, I would truly appreciate your signature.
