Due to the pressures on Birmingham City Council’s finances difficult cuts to frontline services are possible. Libraries across the city are one of the areas that are likely to be under threat.

We believe that Bartley Green Library is an essential part of our community as it provides services beyond just lending books. Bartley Green Library provides a place for people of all ages to learn, study, and develop, as well as community spaces for people to use. We believe maintaining this is essential, and that Bartley Green Library should be saved from further reductions in hours, from being fully closed, or sold off.
