Keep Avery Safe - to stop emotional, physical and sexual abuse of Avery

The Issue

This petition is about Avery, my 7 year old daughter, who has been in unsafe and unstable circumstances for the last 6 years.

In September 2016, Avery's mother (Bonnie Brower/Rodman/Williams) moved Avery over 500 miles away from Dallas-Fort Worth (where Avery's father lives) to the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas without any notice. The father had been very involved with Avery visiting every opportunity the mother would allow. It took the father 7 months in court to get his next visit with Avery.

In 2017, when Avery was one year old, her mother left Avery in a car at a bar while on a date with Shay Williams, a child counselor of Sunny Glen Children's foster camp. They got married 6 days later after knowing each other less than a month.   At the emergency hearing Judge Rudy Gonzalez allowed the mom to keep custody and even rewarded her behavior by giving her child support.  News Article

In 2020, while still married to the former child counselor, Avery's mother has moved her in with Ramiro Losoya Jr. who was arrested in May 2020 for allegedly injuring his two sons whom he is not allowed to see or talk to.  After 3 years, he has still not gone to trial for this arrest.  In 2012, Ramiro spent two years in prison for injuring someone as well as possession of a PG 1 level drug and marijuana. The mother and Ramiro conceived a child in February 2020, a few months after separating from the mother's current husband.

The mother's first husband, Clay Rodman, went missing on May 1, 2013 and has never been found.

Both in February 2017 and September 2020 Judge Rudy Gonzalez of County Court 1 in Hidalgo County ordered that Avery be returned to her mother and her boyfriend despite these unsafe circumstances.

On September 2, 2021 Avery was emotionally abused by her mother.

On September 18th, 2021 Avery was diagnosed with physical abuse suspected by a children's emergency room, with injuries consistent with being stabbed by a fork, burned by a cigarette, strangled, and bound by plastic zip ties on her wrists and ankles.   The same day Avery was diagnosed with sexual assault confirmed by DHR hospital.

Since the medical diagnoses, two judges in Hidalgo County, Texas have refused to sign a temporary restraining order which would have protected Avery from further emotional, physical and sexual abuse but they chose not to do so.

I am asking for your help to get the courts attention to the fact that Avery deserves a safe, stable and non-violent environment, like the Texas Family Code says that Avery deserves.
