The Issue

Aunt Flow provides free, 100% cotton menstrual products to students at Salisbury University—a small but powerful step toward ending period poverty. With support from the President’s Office, FLARE proudly helped bring Aunt Flow to campus. Since then, we’ve seen the impact: better access, less stigma, and a healthier, more equitable environment for all students.

But now, due to budget constraints, Aunt Flow is at risk of being removed from our campus.

This is a serious issue. Nearly 1 in 4 students struggle to afford period products, according to national research. No one should have to choose between attending class and managing their period with dignity.

At FLARE, we restock these products regularly and hear firsthand how much they matter. Losing Aunt Flow would be a major step backward for menstrual equity at Salisbury.

We’re calling on the University to prioritize funding for Aunt Flow and continue supporting accessible menstrual care on campus.

Sign this petition to tell Salisbury University: Menstrual products are not optional—they’re essential.

Whether you menstruate or support someone who does, your voice matters. Help us keep Aunt Flow flowing at Salisbury!
