Exploring ones identity is not a bad thing. We kids DO understand these things, and are not overwhelmed by such. As a nonbinary, xeno, and trans teen, Ive never felt like my assigned gender at birth, and always felt the opposite and more. Me and many other kids understood (and still do) that not everyone is the same and don’t have the same preferences or gender. I could've came out in 2nd grade if I knew what trans was. Now Im in high school with anti-depressants, and during middle school- those were my worst years.

A safe environment involves educating the unlearned. Gender dysphoria can be a big impact of our well being, even on children. Children understand pronouns and the change of such. They roleplay, of course they do!

I do NOT want to see another child suffering from gender dysphoria, not knowing why or how to fix it. If we go through with this, many trans and nonbinary children will have a happier place, and many cisgender children will understand better and support them.
