CALL FOR ACTION...... again
We value your commitment to Albury Aquatics and thank you for your time.
We ask for your help and support again by filling in Albury Councils survey.
Albury Council has decided it needs more information from the Albury Aquatic Community about winter swimming. You can do this via the link below.
Albury Council Aquatics Survey
𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨:• Surveys shape decisions. Council uses community survey results to inform and justify its decisions. High participation in favour of year-round operation creates a clear, documented mandate that is difficult for any Councillor to ignore.
• This community has been here before. Consultation on Albury’s aquatic facilities took place in 2006 and 2017. On both occasions, the community supported year-round access. On both occasions, nothing changed. This time, completing the survey creates a public record that holds Council accountable.
• Numbers matter. A handful of responses can be dismissed. Hundreds cannot. The Lavington community generated 295 submissions and drove a major investment decision. The same energy directed at this survey can produce the same result.
• Your response is your representation. Not everyone can attend a Council meeting or write a formal submission. The survey is the most accessible way for any resident to put their view on the official record. Every single response counts equally.
• Silence is a vote for closure. If those who want this pool open do not complete the survey, the results will not reflect the true depth of community support. That majority must show up in the data.
• Share it widely. Send the link to your family, your training group, your club, your neighbours, your school community. Every share multiplies the impact.
