We, the undersigned, are calling on the Western Australian Government to keep Albany’s reticulated mains gas network permanently operating.

Albany households and businesses have relied on the mains gas network for years. Shutting it down would force thousands of customers to change how they receive and use gas.

We are asking the WA Government to:

● Keep Albany’s mains gas network operating permanently.

● Do not decommission or disconnect the network.

● Continue providing Albany households and businesses with access to reticulated gas.

● Protect the existing gas infrastructure that the Albany community relies on.

Our position is simple: Albany’s mains gas network should stay, not be temporarily saved and not merely delayed. We want it kept permanently.
