A 2.3 million square foot AI data center has passed the first review to be built near Queen Creek. According to CNN, AI data centers can raise the temperature of surrounding areas by up to 16 degrees Fahrenheit. For the past week, the high temperature in Queen Creek has been over 100 degrees. It is already way too hot. The data center is owned by a Japanese tech company called NTT which runs Microsoft’s AI Copilot. This AI has been used to make nude deepfakes of women without their consent. This is not a good decision for Queen Creek and it needs to be rejected before construction begins.
