We need to demand change in our justice system for sexual predators. Harsher punishments, and a longer statute of limitations for victims to take legal action. James Weems is being accused of molesting three children at a daycare center in Owings Mills, Maryland. He is facing 33 counts of rape and child sex crimes and is being released for home detention. 

Ms. Shanteari Weems, (wife of James Weems) found out Mr. Weems molested children in her daycare center and shot the sexual deviant. She is serving a four year prison sentence, while a molester will be allowed house arrest.

Starting a petition isn’t something I would normally do, but I was moved to do so because my heart wouldn’t allow me to ignore children being hurt by someone in a trusted position, that should have protected them. 

Please join me in signing the petition to implore Maryland’s Representative Glenn Ivey to keep this sex offender behind bars and tell our judicial branch of government we want harsher penalties for those that harm our children.
