There has been a positive development regarding the #96 bus route, but the fight is not over.
As of Sunday, April 5, service on the #96 will be increased to about every half an hour, 7 days per week.
This will almost double #96 bus service.

I have been told that this change is due in large part to the petitions that have been submitted to the MBTA.

But the fight to keep the #96 terminus in Harvard Square continues.
I will keep working with our local elected officials to schedule a public meeting, and to collect signatures.
