The same developer is bringing back another request for rezoning the large commercial tract between Briar Grove/380 and Forest Grove/Tractor Supply into a Planned Development. We have been successful TWICE in getting this shut down, and we need your help to do it again. While the concept plan keeps changing, the basic is the same: 75% of the land is to be apartments with the vague promise of 4 sit down restaurants in front. This property has SO MUCH commerical potential, don't let your city leaders turn it into an apartment complex that will likely be run down in 20 years.
Please plan to attend BOTH hearings. The P&Z will review the concept and submit a recommendation for either approval or denial to city council. City Council will consider the recommendation and review the concept plan and ultimately vote whether or not to approve the rezoning. THEY NEED TO HEAR YOU!
