Remove the charge at our community refuse centre (where applicable) and reduce the overpriced collection fees on large items. The residents who live in Sevenoaks district council are being charged by the local authorities to get rid of rubbish! Some families and households do not have a car so it is not fair to charge the £35.00 PER ITEM! This will financially cripple most families. 

This has led to a massive surge of fly tipping that increases health and safety risk, diseases and dangerous hazards. Such as 3 fires in the last 6 months when these bins were set on fire! People still dump and fly tip because they know eventually the council will still collect it. So why bother with the charges? Maybe allow us to arrange a suitable time for a collection leaving our streets clear. And then people who do not follow that rule can receive a penalty? Better in that order rather than charging residents. 

It is an eyesore and smells disgusting and during the summer months produces hundreds of maggots and flies. Totally gross. 

Stop wasting money on cameras that cost £500.00 a piece when you should be paying for extra rounds in our communities. 

REDUCE THE COLLECTION FEES ON OUR RUBBISH !

Stop spending money on CCTV as you are not enforcing penalties. 

Pay the waste servicemen to get out there a couple more times a week. 

Come and see what it's like before summer. You would not leave your community like this it is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
