In the wake of the death of 3 year old Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney, I feel a change is needed to how people who commit crimes against children are detain and convicted. The suspected kidnapper was released on bond and it was later revealed he may be responsible for the child's death. I purpose the Cupcake Law that will withhold the bond and release of any person suspected of any crime against a child. The person cannot be released until verifiable evidence prove they are innocent. In any case there will be no bond issued for the suspect or suspects regardless of pleas or lawyer rebuttals.
