Alabama residents can now kill Sandhill Cranes for fun!

The docile and slow-moving sandhill crane is now under attack by unscrupulous hunters. The State has now undermined the past one hundred years of conservation efforts to restore a balanced and healthy population of sandhill cranes. Alabama's wildlife agency should be ashamed of themselves for allowing the hunting of a once protected species just for the thrill of the kill. This hunt will have a significant impact on the future integrity of sandhill crane populations. 

We ask Gov. Kay Ivey to call off this slaughter masquerading as conservation and prevent any proposals for a hunt such as this in the future.
