Kawasaki India: Help get the bikes to people who've PAID for them!
The Issue
12 customers paid full amounts to get their dream bikes from SNK Kawasaki in Navi Mumbai. It's been 6 months, and none of them have received anything. The dealer is absconding, and unresponsive to calls. We need Kawasaki to take responsibility and solve their customer's problems!
Kawasaki India, the SNK Palm Beach is an authorized dealer of yours, as confirmed in the notice on your own website. You are a global MNC, with millions of customers on this planet. You cannot tell people who've paid your authorized representative to deal with the representative on their own.
No customer has the legal and monetary resources of a huge corporation. Customers have already spent lakhs to get their bikes, many of them have taken loans whose EMIs have already begun. When you have the ability to pressurise your dealer into refunding the customers money, should they not be able to deliver the bike to them. You cannot seriously expect the customer to shell out more money for legal representation when it's logically your responsibility to get that sorted.
Think about this, if you help these desperate customers to get their bikes, or to at least get their money back, your brand loyalty will only increase, the value of Kawasaki India to its customers will only go up. If, on the other hand, you leave the customers to fend for themselves, you will create a very negative image for Kawasaki India in the Indian biking fraternity, which cannot be good for your company, the Kawasaki brand and otherwise outstanding products, in India.
You need to understand that the entire superbiking community in India is a small and tightly knit bunch, and any negative reviews of any particular brand are quickly spread throughout. The same goes for positive reviews.
You already have a reputation of creating some amazing motorcycles, masterpieces of engineering that can only be described as art on two wheels.
Please consider resolving the plight of your customers, it'll tremendously boost your market image, and help you gain far more value than you'll lose by helping them.
