Kaua`i Bill no. 2629  prohibits smoking in a motor vehicle when a minor under the age of 18 years old is present. 

This bill will help reduce youth exposure to secondhand smoke which could trigger health issues such as asthma, ear nose and throat infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, and SIDS.
