I am a student at Mcmeans Junior High. Before you decide to abandon this petition because you think I am only a junior high student and, therefore, I cannot make a change in this world, I would like to express a few points. Due to the limited budget, the bus routes have been changed and the number of buses have been reduced, however, it is still the district’s duty to make sure that students get to school on time.  I personally feel that the whole point of going to school is to receive education, and this cannot be achieved when students are 40 minutes late to first period/their first class in the morning. In the afternoon, some of the buses are so late that we end up getting home at 5:00. Additionally, a lot of students’ parents both work, and the late buses significantly affect the parents’ work time. This not only applies to my school, but a lot of KatyISD schools.
