With the onset of Covid-19 outbreak and the cancellation of school, it has been suggested that students take online classes. This suggestion has come on short notice and with little information, which has caused great confusion amongst Teachers, students, and parents. As a community we believe these online classes will hinder students’ and parents’ necessary income to support their families in these trying times. Working students and possibly their parents would instead have their focus shifted from providing for their families in the harsh environment Covid-19 has created. This distraction very well may lead to students and parents to not take the steps necessary to properly sanitize. Lastly, due to the sudden suggestion of online classes, students with no online access have been left in the dark In this dire situation and will not have access to any education.
