I am a 11 year old girl who started the petition to save Addy Walker from retirement and won. But now, instead of celebrating, I'm taking more action to bring 2 dolls of diverse races to the Indigo American Girl boutiques in Canada. In Canada, all of the dolls that are available here in America are on American Girl's Canadian site, but all of the BeForever dolls except two are in stores. The two missing dolls are Kaya- a "daring" Native-American from 1764 and Josefina- a "gentle" Hispanic doll from 1824. I know that if I was one of those races and lived in Canada, I'd be sad to see myself as a "online-only" doll. In a world where I see people of different races and abilites in public every day, I think that it's just terrible that the only 2 missing BeForever dolls in the Indigo American Girl stores are dolls of color. Please bring Kaya and Josefina to the Indigo American Girl stores!
