In honor and loving memory of Stanford Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper, Katie Meyer, the Meyer Family has created a movement and initiative with the ultimate goal of supporting, protecting and saving students and families in the future.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers over the past few months. They have been felt deeply and have lifted us up. We would not have made it this far without them.

But now, it is time to go further and take the steps forward that we know Katie would be proud of. It is time for universities, students and advocates to gather together to change how we navigate mental health crises and hope to prevent future tragedies.

The more we learn about the systems around the nation that govern our students' lives, the more we learn that accomplishing change may be a battle. But we are certain it is a battle worth fighting. Not only in the memory of Katie,  but for all of our future students.  And we simply won't quit until that battle is won and real change has been made.
