On the 2nd of March, all three of the Vice-Presidents of CWSM, namely Peter Bottomley MP, Nick Gibb MP and Tim Loughton MP, voted to push through the proposed cuts to ESA disability benefits, despite high-profile campaigns by MIND to try and prevent these cuts. This will result in many people losing £30 per week from their benefit payments, which is likely to result in further hardship for the most vulnerable in our society.

As these cuts will directly affect many people who rely on MIND for help with their disabilities, these Vice-Presidents clearly do not represent the views and aims of MIND or its patrons, and so should be asked to resign their positions, with immediate effect, or be forcibly removed.
