I started this petition after i read on Tumblr how funny it would be of Marc Guggenheim producer of Arrow would see Katie Cassidy as the Black Canary in Harley Quinns solo movie being a part of the Birds of Prey.
Cassidy's character got killed off on Arrow in the episode Eleven-Fifty-Nine.
Never would've Guggenheim think the fandom and comic book readers themself would lose their mind and got so upset with that.
But that's the thing: ever since Marc Guggenheim took over Arrow after season 2 ended, because the writers who wrote season 1 and 2 went to the television show the Flash he sidelined Laurels character and never really included her in Team Arrow.

Laurels character has developed so much and people didn't like her character because they tought she was annoying and her character started off as a bad written character while she has so much potention and could've grown the the Black Canary we have right now in the Comics.
Many of us know that Katie absolutely loves playing the character and even cried when she heard her character was the one who would get killed off this season.
We all know DC wants to keep the DCEU and DCTV seperated but maybe we could change that because it doesn't make sense that they can't be played by the same actors.

If you want to see Katie play her character in the Harley Quinn solo movie just with another storyline and finally getting credit for the badass character she plays please sign this petition i would really appriciate that.
