Brandon Roberts was a new father of a beautiful child, living in Milford, Delaware.

Brandon struggled with mental health issues, and called the police during a mental health crisis, seeking treatment. His fiancé clearly explained to law enforcement that he was not a danger to anyone but himself, that there were no firearms inside the home. There was no imminent threat — Brandon was only seeking help. 

Police pounded on his door with weapons drawn, and in under three seconds, shot him to death in front of his family, filling his home with stray bullets. 

1. We demand that the body camera footage from his death is released to the public immediately.

2. The Attorney General of Delaware, Kathy Jennings, must immediately open an independent, public investigation into the Milford Police Department.

3. The officers responsible for the murder of Brandon Roberts must be fired, have their pensions revoked, and charged with excessive force and manslaughter.

Brandon's family deserves answers. The American public deserves answers. A daughter has lost her father; a wife has lost her husband; a mother has lost her son, and most importantly, an innocent man has lost his life. Brandon Roberts mattered.
