The WuHan Coronavirus has spreading more than 17 countries all over the world. CNN.com posted on  Jan 27 2020, “there are more than 50 confirmed cases in 13 places outside of mainland China, including at least five in the United States. ”, “people can spread the virus before symptoms show”. Dr. William Schaffner, told CNN the new development means “the infection is much more contagious than we originally thought.” There is no medication or vaccination so far to cure.

School is not a safe place.Very few people wear masks on SMC campus at the moment. Crowded spaces, like classroom, are more likely to spread the virus. We need to take measures for our own safety, and for public safety. School has the responsibility to protect their students and employees. We demand to cancel school, totransfer on-campus class to online class.We hope the loss can be minimized with the support of our school. We are human who do not want to die.
