This is a petition to remove David Benioff and D.B. Weiss from anything Star Wars related. 

David and D.B.'s complete disregard for compelling and satisfying character arcs just to simply subvert expectations or provide shock value goes completely against the high level of character development we expect from Star Wars movies. It is clear and evident that these writers were quick to put their own self-interest before that of their fans as well as HBO in order to finish working on Game of Thrones as soon as possible in order to start on Star Wars. 

David and D.B. have admitted to changing stories and characters to simply keep us guessing. This is a sign of flat out lazy writing and shows that they do not understand the source material or any of their characters. Their blatant attempts at reinforcing gender stereotypes as opposed to tearing them down as well as their failure to be more inclusive also goes against the culture within Star Wars and Lucasfilm as a whole. 

For everyone at Lucasfilm, including Kathleen Kennedy, I ask you to please reconsider your decision to have David and D.B. as part of the Star Wars family.
