Tell Oregon to “Be the Change” and make environmental history by passing Oregon HB 4089
This petition made change with 836 supporters!
In February, the Oregon House is set to vote on Oregon HB 4089 which would require shipments to state universities and agencies to be handled on corrugated pallets instead of wood. This would reduce carbon emissions massively. And while the bill has support from members on both sides of the aisle — including Speaker of the House Kotek and Senate Majority Leader Burdick — it still needs your help.
By signing this petition you're telling Oregon’s elected officials that you want our state to be the first in the country to adopt this MARKET-PROVEN way to reduce emissions and save taxpayer dollars.
IKEA® required its suppliers to use corrugated cardboard pallets and reduced carbon emissions by 300,000 METRIC TONS in four years. It also SAVED millions of dollars in transportation costs.
Tell Oregon’s elected officials that we want to BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD by signing this petition now!
